How does my Hostly work?

The first step is to get in touch with our team. We’ll walk you through our services, see if your home is a good fit, and go over your personalized management fee. If you choose to move forward, you will sign an agreement. We will also request access to the property to confirm permits, do a deep clean, conduct an initial inspection, and develop your home’s online listing. We’ll get your vacation rental up and running as quickly as possible!

Once your home is ready for guests, Hostly’s all-inclusive vacation rental management handles everything. We tend to every detail, leading to happy guests, glowing reviews, and lots of profit!

How do you price my listing?

We offer dynamic pricing by working with an industry-leading pricing platform to price your listing. Pricing is based on factors such as local events/holidays, weather, general low/high season, etc. Our system syncs several times a day with this pricing platform’s algorithm to ensure you get the best rates and capture the most revenue.

Will I have an owner’s portal?

Absolutely. On your user-friendly owner dashboard, you’ll be able to see revenue, reports, booking notifications and more!

Do you provide 24/7 service for guests?

Yes, our customer service team will make sure that your guests are always taken care of. 

Feel free to turn your phone off at night! No more taking calls from guests at 3 am or waking up in the middle of the night to help a guest that has locked themselves out.

Where do you advertise my home?

All major platforms such as Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, Trip Advisor, etc.

How am I paid?

We are different from other management companies in that funds will be sent straight to you via direct deposit after each booking. We simply invoice our management fee at the end of each month.

Are there any long contracts?

Nope! We have a 30 day agreement that you can cancel anytime with a 30 day notice. You are welcome back anytime!

Can I use my home whenever I want?

It will always be your home! Simply let us know when you plan to use your home so we can prepare it and block the dates for you. After your stay, let us know if you need a cleaning or if you would like to do your own cleaning before guests arrive.

What does the management package include?

It will depend on which management package you choose. We have several flexible options ranging from co-hosting to all- inclusive. Your new team will explore each package with you, helping you to choose the one that works best for your home.

How does the management fee work?

The management fee depends on the type of management service you choose. There’s a package for every budget, and our skilled consultants will help you determine which is the best fit for you.

Do you provide STR/VR counseling?

Yes, we can provide STR/Vacation Rental Consulting upon request.

Do I need to provide you with photographs?

Yes and no. Depending on the management package you select, we’ll either provide the HD photos for you or you’ll provide those for us. Either way, we’ll set up your listing.

What does the cleaning process look like?

We handle the cleaning with our partner, Magic Helpers, one of the most trusted names in cleaning services!

Magic Helpers conducts detailed cleaning and sanitizing, replenishment of all toiletries, and hotel-style staging, as well as pre and post inspection of the property.
